i saw a post saying that the way Brazilian’s were grief-stricken about the bad loss to Germany was stupid and that soccer wasn’t a lifestyle, just a sport.

OBVIOUSLY, EVEN THOUGH THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE POST LIVE IN BRAZIL

do not understand how that soccer for those players was, in fact, a lifestyle.  It’s the Olympics for soccer.  You can’t be in the Olympics/World Cup without devoting your entire life, every cent of your money, every hour of your time to this sport.  And, for Brazil, even while they are in some pretty crappy financial times, the World Cup gives them all something to celebrate and look forward to,

If you took  seconds to research things, you’d know that Brazil has not lost a home game since the 1970’s  and it has never been by this large of a gap.

This shook their country and I genuinely feel sorry for not only the players and the coach, but for everyone, Brazilian or not, who was rooting for them.
